Register Account
To create a new account with Nec Money, you have to either visit our website at www.necmoney.co.za or download our mobile App app namely NEC Money from Play Store or App Store. After visiting our website or downloading our Mobile App, you are required to fill personal information, including your name, residential address, email address and phone number. To complete the 1st part of account opening process, you have to create a password and to accept the terms and conditions.
Upload Personal Details & Document
Log in to your account and go to the "Upload Personal Details & Document" section. Select the required identification document such as passport & VISA or SA ID and upload clear image of the document. Your document will be reviewed for verification.
You can also upload your proof of address and source of income documents like Personal Bank Statement, Pay slips, Tax Clearance Certificate, Business CIPC documents, Business Bank Statement, Merchant Statement (Swipe machine Summary Statement) for higher transactional limit subject to availability of the document with you.
Create Transaction
Choose money receiving method and provide correct details of your beneficiary in the respective area on the App or in the website. Review the transaction summary along with beneficiary details and confirm the correctness of the payment. Once successful, you'll receive a confirmation message. Please note that you transaction will remain hold until compliance checking procedures and receiving of your payment against the transaction.
Complete Your Payment
Select your payment method and make payment to our Bank account, Shop2Shop or Retail outlet under Pay@ Platform using your transaction number or Nec Money account number as beneficiary reference. After reviewing the transaction summary, confirm the payment. A confirmation message will be sent once the payment is successfully processed.
